Money Mindset review

John Reese’s Money Mindset has a bit of a troubled start. Originally launched a couple of months ago as an online seminar program, the product was quickly pulled as there clearly weren’t enough customers for it at (from memory) $497.

Instead, John released the product as an download which you can get for just $97.

The course is designed to get internet marketers into the right mindset to really focus on what they are doing and to move so many marketers beyond the point of constantly trying things without any financial gain.

Supposedly the course consists of a number of videos and PDF files to be completed as you go along. Since the videos consist of Powerpoint bullet points with John speaking over the top, it is lucky he also provided the information as MP3s.

In total the audio lasts around 2 hours, and one annoying point that is repeated from Traffic Secrets 2.0 is that the files are listed as follows:

1_1.mp3
1_10.mp3
1_11.mp3
1_12.mp3
1_2.mp3

Inserting a zero in would make the files list correctly, which is a minor point but irritating all the same.

I listened to the course through on the day I bought it, and was surprised at how lightweight the material actually is. There is much more detailed material available and at a lower price point. Money Mindset costs $97, which is way too high – so much so that for the first time ever I’ve asked for my money back.

In reality Money Mindset is worth a maximum of $20 – this just doesn’t cut it.

    David,

    How strange!

I was google searching for a money mindset review and clicked through to this site…after reading the review, I thought “hold on…David Leigh?”…ahhh, Manchester Coming Home Seminar!

    Heh heh – small world!

Agree with the John Reese Money Mindset Review – it’s very low quality, high-level stuff.

I’m sure John Reese’s mindset is very good, but he hasn’t found a way to express how someone else could learn a strong, positive mindset.

The stuff is so basic, but highlights what a great business model IM can be for the “Gurus”…take the content of a $10 book you bought from Amazon, repackage it as screenflow videos with audio, and a few PDFs, and sell it for $97 to your list of adoring fans!

It’s shocking to hear that he was planning on selling this for $497 – I’d agree with your $20 max!

Some of the stuff is so cringeworthy – “you must learn to be confident”. Err, yes…clearly…the question is HOW?

I’m half way through module 3…and hoping that he gives some concrete action points to implement the exercises otherwise this will be a real flop.

Anyway, great to virtually meet you again after Manchester…speak soon.

    Hi Joe,

Great to hear from you. I emailed you when I got back, but it sounds like you didn’t get it. I wonder how many other people haven’t heard from me!

I agree with all you say. John Reese really knows his stuff and in interviews comes across well. But his courses just don’t cut it.

Also, something else I’ve found with his customer service previously – I did ask for my money back at the time I wrote the review, but I have never heard from his cust serv people – very poor.

Anyway, keep in touch. I’m refocusing for nexy year following the Manchester seminar and really hyped up – can’t wait for the start of the year!
