Google rolls out Penguin 2.0
May 29, 2013 5:05 pmLast week Google rolled out its updated Penguin 2.0 algorithm aimed at removing sites that have used ranking methods that Google considers spammy from the search engine results.
The update had been signalled by Matt Cutts, head of Google’s webspam team, and confirmed by him after pushing the “go” button. According to Cutts the update will affect 2.3% of US English search queries.
