30 day challenge case study – day 6

Yesterday I told you about my DMCA complaint.

In the end it had a dramatic effect – while an email to the offending party yielded no result, within 2 hours of faxing a complaint to Hostgator the website in question had added the author name and changed the links to the website they should have been promoting.

That had NOTHING to do with the 30 day challenge project though, it was for a client’s website, although it did mean that because my Ezinearticles.com account was suspended the article written to promote this website was stalled in the editing queue.

Problem resolved and account unfrozen, I spent a total of 35 minutes bookmarking Web 2.0 pages in Traffic Bug, Edge Networker, Onlywire and Clip Clip; all are now added to Traffic Bug and the Edge Networker, although I may add some of the blog’s pages, depending on results over the next few days.

Also, I need to write some more content and maybe write some more articles for Ezinearticles and other article directories – which I’ll try and get done before travelling to the UK for Ed Dale’s seminar next week, otherwise I may write while on the move.

I just ran Market Samurai and it is showing the website has dropped out of SERPS – this is normal though and I expect to to be back in tomorrow or Saturday – although it is showing up when I do the search manually.

And the other great news is that the site had 7 visitors yesterday from both the main keyword and some very long tail keywords too.
