Google Makes It Even Harder to Estimate Missing iOS 6 Organic Search Data [Search Engine Watch]

This is something I wasn’t aware of as being an issue, although I was wondering why I get so many visits shown as direct referrals in Google Analytics.

Up to 12% of traffic to your site might be mislabelled by Google Analytics as being direct, when in fact it is from a device running iOS 6.
