Google Instant – the UK A-Z

September 9th, 2010 · 2 Comments

Yesterday Google turned on Google Instant, which delivers results without your hitting the search button. It’ll be interesting to see how that affects traffic, but for a bit of fun I thought I’d put together an A-Z of Google Instant based on entering a single letter of the alphabet into Google UK.

Argos

BBC

Currys

Debenhams

eBay

Facebook

Google Maps

H is for Live.com (! thanks to its association with Hotmail)

ITV

John Lewis

KLM

L is for National Lottery (Lotto)

MSN UK

Next

O2

PayPal

QVC

Rightmove

Sky

Tesco

U is for YouTube (U-tube)

Virgin Atlantic

W – BBC Weather

Xbox

YouTube – again (see U)

Zara

I can’t think of any practical use for this list, but hey!

    Hi David
Nice list. I also like your post about finding that sporting niche.
You’re right. There’s opportunities arising everyday with a new profitable but low competition niches to be found.

So, are you in Barcelona then?
    British citizen or Spanish?
I’m South African, but living under the grey skies in London (for now)
