Facebook adds hashtags

You see them on Twitter and Google+, but it is only now that Facebook has decided to add clickable hashtags to updates.

The value is simple; they allow you to see what other people are saying about the topic in question. It seems to be something that is rolling out, so you may not yet see them, but expect them, in your timeline soon.
